We're thrilled that you chose to go on safari with us, and now is the moment when all of the planning pays off and your safari dreams begin to come true. You'll meet our team, we'll explain what happens next and answer any questions you might have. Then all that's left to do is go and start this safari trip of a lifetime together.

One of our favorite places to look for wildlife in Kenya is the Masai Mara National Reserve. That's because the wildlife here is incredible, with big cats (lions, leopards and cheetahs) and elephants among the highlights, not to mention black rhinos in the Mara Triangle. There's a very good chance you'll also see giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and, of course, impalas. And bring your binoculars, because more than 500 species of birds have been recorded in the reserve. It's a place of beautiful savannah landscapes as well, with lots of acacia trees.

Activities Day 2

6 am - 8 am

Come and see the best of Masai Mara National Reserve as we take you out on a guided game drive. It really is a terrific way to feel a part of Africa with the wind in your hair as we drive you around to look for animals.

3:30 pm - 6 pm

You'll be heading down more safari trails in search of animals in Masai Mara National Reserve when we take you on a guided game drive. This is the best thing about many safaris, and you'll hopefully see many animals.

Activities Day 3

6 am - 8 am

You'll be joining us in Masai Mara National Reserve for a guided game drive. It's a fantastic opportunity to see some of the animals you came so far to see.

3:30 pm - 6 pm

Come and see the best of Masai Mara National Reserve as we take you out on a guided game drive. It really is a terrific way to feel a part of Africa with the wind in your hair as we drive you around to look for animals.

Optional Day 2

5 am - 9 am

Take to the sky with us on our balloon safari in Masai Mara National Reserve. It will give you an entirely new perspective on the world down below. See how many animals you can spot.

Ilkeliani Camp Luxury

Tented bush camp Just outside Masai Mara National Reserve

Nestled in a riverine forest in the Masai Mara Game Reserve, the area is a favourite for elephants coming to drink from the Talek River. Ilkeliani camp consists of 12 tents, each commanding views of the plains and the wildlife action throughout the day. The tented rooms are raised up on wood decks overlooking the Talek river and the plains. The tents are surrounded by vegetation and well spaced out and each one has been sited under its own cluster of shady indigenous trees and you do feel like you are out in the wilderness. The camp now has a suspension bridge for easy access to the reserve for early game drives.

Day 4

Final day with us

It's worth taking the time to explore Nairobi, which is both your gateway to so many safari experiences and a fascinating destination in its own right. Here you'll find museums, a national park and wildlife-rescue centers to go with the excellent shops, markets, restaurants, hotels and nightlife, as well as endlessly interesting street life.
